ASS-SOOS

ASS-SOOS

Do you sometimes feel lonely in the evening after your day job, education or work? Would you like to build more social contacts, but don't know where to start? Then the ASS-SOOS might be just what you are looking for.
The ASS-SOOS is a weekly meeting place for residents with (suspected) autism or other forms of neurodivergence. It is a warm, cosy living room where you are welcome just as you are. You don't have to do anything - you can just attend. Would you like to take part in an activity or a conversation? You can. Would you rather sit quietly and soak up the atmosphere? Also totally fine.
Many people in this target group find it difficult to establish or maintain social contacts. ASS-SOOS is all about recognition, peace and connection - at your pace and in a way that suits you.

What can you expect?

Conviviality!
Meetings with like-minded people
Space to be an active or quiet social presence
Exchange experiences and tips on living with ASD or neurodivergence
Activities around shared interests
A listening ear and space to vent
Incentive to help each other with personal goals
Moving towards an informal buddy system for practical support
Together, we provide a place where neurodiversity is accepted and respected. We also look together at how to deal with the idea of 'normalisation' in a society that is not always geared to it.

You are most welcome. Feel free to drop by and experience what ASS-SOOS can do for you.
