Are you looking to volunteer? The Volunteer Festival is the place to meet (volunteer) organisations. In October, it is on again! Entrance is free. Will you be there? No fewer than 70 organisations looking for volunteers will be present at the Volunteer Festival. Have an informal chat and find out which organisation suits you. MaatjespleinThe name says it all: the organisations on the Maatjesplein are looking for volunteers who want to do something for others. Something for you? Come and meet us! CultuurpleinWith respect to culture, there is plenty to experience in the municipality of Leeuwarden. Think museum, film house or pop venue. Moody's A place for and by young people! Young people aged 12 to 27 can come here with all their questions and ideas, but also to get to know others, learn new things and discover what you like. Our regular opening hours are Monday to Friday from 13:00 to 17:00 and on Thursday evenings we have dinner together between 17:00 and 19:00. But! These times and days can sometimes vary, check our Insta (@moodysleeuwarden) highlights for the current schedule. Don't have an Instagram? Then send an email or app to one of the contacts and we will share the schedule via another route: moodysleeuwarden@amaryllisleeuwarden.nl What to do with us?Our activities vary from period to period. We work with young people and organise what is needed. So do you have a good idea? Then we can help you make it real! Sports activities, game tournaments, craft afternoons, game nights, cooking clubs and recording podcasts are just a few examples of what is or can be done. Apart from the activities, there are also several youth workers you can turn to with questions about money, housing, work, school, relationships and mental health. More info? Feel free to drop in.
