All residents of the Leeuwarden municipality are welcome to visit Amaryllis with questions or concerns: 

  • About, for example, money, parenting, relationships, informal care, household, language, neighbourhood mediation, health or safety
  • Or with very different questions

This is what Amaryllis can do with you

Do you have questions or concerns? Then we can give you tips, information or support.

Tips and information

The first contact with Amaryllis is often at one of our social neighbourhood or village teams. Often, one conversation or a few conversations are enough. We then provide tips and information. Such as:

  • Tips on activities and initiatives in the neighbourhood
  • Thinking along how to address your question or problem
  • Putting you in touch with other residents. To do something fun together or to help each other. Or so you can meet other people and participate
  • Point the way for help through, for example, Humanitas, dbieb or the Neighbourhood Service Point
  • Putting you in touch with another team or staff member within Amaryllis

Or maybe it already helps that you can tell your story.

Support

Do you need support? Then we'll look at it together:

  • What you can do yourself
  • How your social network can help. Such as family, friends or neighbours
  • What further support suits you

Together, we do what is needed so that you can move forward again.

In group or individual

If possible, we offer our support in a group, if necessary individually. Both are also possible.

Our support in groups can be:

  • To meet other people
  • To share experiences
  • To learn something
  • Or as a fun and meaningful daytime activity

Our individual support consists, for example, of talks with a social worker, or temporary counselling at home.

Online

A combination with online support is also possible. Among other things, we use the e-health programme Gezondeboel. Here, you can follow training sessions yourself via your computer or phone. With videos, information and tips on your subject. At your own pace and at your own convenience.
