"Meeting and Participating Leovardia was my salvation"

"Two years ago, I lost my wife," says Kor. "We were together for 70 years. That made me very lonely. Through Herke, whom I still know from my time at Cambuur, I ended up here. That was my salvation. It's always nice here. There is good guidance from Amaryllis and Firda's students keep you young. I am almost 90 and still very fit, but there are people here who cannot do so much anymore. Those people are also very well taken care of here. I would like to shout from the rooftops: come here."

Meet and Join Leovardia is every Tuesday afternoon in the canteen of SL Leovardia. Staff from Amaryllis, together with students from learning company FP neighbours Firda, organise a fun afternoon for a group of about 16 very different people.
