Neighbour quarrels happen everywhere. Barking dogs, a fence in the wrong place, nuisance from children playing or footsteps on the floor above you. What starts as a minor annoyance can end in a neighbour brawl.
If you can't work things out with your neighbours yourself, Neighbourhood Mediation of Amaryllis can help. Don't wait too long and resolve the conflict together. Our help is free of charge.

Neighbourhood mediation from Amaryllis helps neighbours talk to each other and restore contact. Together, you can then reach a solution. To end a quarrel and prevent worse.
Who is Neighbourhood Mediation for?
Neighbourhood mediation from Amaryllis is for residents of the municipality of Leeuwarden. Come to us if you have problems or arguments with your neighbours or someone in the neighbourhood.
Organisations can also use Neighbourhood Mediation if they notice that neighbours are having problems with each other. For example, healthcare authorities, housing associations and police.
Buurtbemiddeling van Amaryllis kun je niet voor alle burenruzies inschakelen.
Buurtbemiddeling is niet voor:
- arguments between family members
- conflicts with a lot of aggression
- argument involving alcohol or drug addiction
- conflicts between an organisation and residents
- conflicts between multiple parties
How does Neighbourhood Mediation work?
- Tell your problem to Neighbourhood Mediation of Amaryllis.
- Is the problem suitable for Neighbourhood Mediation? Then two neighbourhood mediators will visit your home. They then visit the neighbours to hear their side of the story.
- Then a meeting takes place with both neighbours and the mediators. The problems are discussed and together you find a solution so that you can live comfortably again.
