Let’s do something for each other!

The new Efkes platform is live! Efkes makes it easy for residents of the municipality of Leeuwarden to get in touch with one another. They can offer and ask for help there, easily and without obligation.

Whether it’s doing the shops, a small odd job, help with paperwork, transport or simply some company, Efkes makes it quick and easy for local residents to connect with one another. Efkes makes it easier to meet up, offer help and find support when needed.

“Many people would like to make a difference to someone else’s life, but don’t always know who might need help. At the same time, people sometimes find it difficult to ask for help. Efkes brings together those who need help and those who can offer it in a simple way,” explains Reineke Vogt, volunteering adviser at Amaryllis.

Efkes is part of www.samenleeuwarden.nl, an initiative by Amaryllis.

How does Efkes work?

Through Efkes, residents of the municipality of Leeuwarden can:

• Post a request for help;
• Offering help;
• Making it easy to get in touch with one another;
• Receive notifications of new requests for help that match their interests.
