Here is Amaryllis' public annual report! This short report captures how we helped residents participate, get by and do something for each other in neighbourhoods and villages in 2024.

Amaryllis is the organisation for social work and welfare in the municipality of Leeuwarden. 9,063 people received support from our social neighbourhood and village teams and the teams for PGB and Statusholders. Many more people they helped with tips, information and activities.

Our ‘Meet & Join In’ (day activities), ‘Informal Care’, ‘Youth Work’, ‘Community Development’, ‘Volunteering’ and ‘Eropaf’ (early intervention) teams have also been working flat out once again. And what do you make of the 33,000 visitors to SamenLeeuwarden? Amaryllis has expanded this website. As well as volunteering, it is now also a platform for activities and services.

Additional focus in 2024 was on youth and young people, money and prevention.

We worked with residents, their social network and lots of groups and organisations.
