This is what Amaryllis can do with you
Whether someone sometimes feels lonely or just fine being alone, almost everyone enjoys meeting other people. There are lots of different ways to meet. It just depends on what you like.
Participating in activities
We have tips for activities in the area. We also organise activities ourselves. For children, youth and adults. To meet other people, to share experiences or to learn something. From being creative, drinking coffee or cooking and eating together, to exchanging parenting tips. Or, for example, taking a walk together or playing sports. We also offer fun and meaningful daily activities under the name 'Meeting and participating'. Take a look at our agenda.
Volunteer
Volunteer is a wonderful way to meet people. At the same time, you mean something to others. Ask us Team Volunteering to the possibilities.
Neighbours and friends
Maintaining friendships, making new friends, keeping good contact with neighbours. It sounds simple, but can be quite difficult. We would be happy to look at how you can tackle it with you.
Is the step too big?
Is the step too big to go out and meet people somewhere? A social worker can work with you to see what it takes to be able to take the step.

No transport? Max Mobile!
Don't have your own transport? Take the Max Mobile! The Max Mobile is a two-seater electric trolley for short journeys in Leeuwarden. A volunteer driver takes you to, for example, the hairdresser, GP, supermarket, hospital or an activity in the neighbourhood. A single ride costs €1.
